I've just returned from London yesterday. It was a good one week break that I really needed, but the fun's over. Tomorrrow will be a working day. Monday of all days...pergh!!

The inevitable Hari Raya shots. Got to have them every year.
This time we didn't go back to Ipoh, rather we stayed right here in KL. Doesn't make a difference to me really. Raya is just one whole day of doing nothing but eating your heart out.

My first studio lighting

I've decided to get a set of studio lighting to learn studio photography. Little did I know the amount of stuff I have to buy for this kinda shooting. I'm still lacking in a few things like the backdrop and a still life table for product shoot. Those are on the way, hopefully.
Here's my first attempt at using them. Thank God for the willing models... hehehe!

Street Shooting II - Haircut Day

I decided to go for a haircut in Little India (Jln TAR). However, upon leaving Amelia decided that she needed a haircut too. So I took her to the same place. We took the lrt and walked quite a distance before reaching the barber shop.

My new EFS 10-22mm
|

I bought this lens secondhand from a fellow PhotoMalaysian. I've been wanting a wider angle than my 17-40L and finally I have found a bargain.
Tested it out at Starbucks KL Sentral.... I couldn't believe how wide this lens is. It's just so much fun to play around with. Checkout the extreme perspective distortion on the pics below. You can fit a whole elephant inches away from the camera. Brilliant, just what I'm after!
(This would be perfect for group wedding shots)
Btw, I'm available for wedding shoot this coming school holidays...

Ooohhh... shot #1, did you slow down the shutter speed and zoom in and out is it? Geram! I dah lama tak buat shot macam nie.. very nice, Bro.
