I decided to refurbish my year-old Dopod 900 since it's still the state-of-the-art pda phone. Figured phone models come out every other month or so, if I wanna keep up then I'll be a bankrupt in no time.

Shots in a studio using a black backdrop

I just purchased a black backdrop for my new studio and decided to play around with it. It's a nice change from my white one which I've been using for almost a year!
Btw, towards the end of the shoot, one of my lights 'exploded' and tripped the whole studio. A quick call to the supplier told me that it's probably due to the overheating from using the snoot as it wasn't the original one for the light.
Lesson learnt here, beli ori!

Studio for Hire
|

Finally I got around to do it! With some help, I managed to convert my deserted condo into a studio-for-hire. Yes folks, it's for hire. This luxurious place comes complete with:
1. 2 600W Aurora lights with softboxes,
2. white umbrella reflector,
3. Dish reflector for the studio light,
4. white backdrop (I'll be adding more backdrops later),
5. perspex table for shooting products (dunno what it's called) and
6. a sofa set for props.
All these with the comfort of airconditioned 2000 sq ft space with 2 bathrooms, kitchen, powder room and feature walls in case you get bored of the backdrops.
This place is highly suitable for model shoots of sorts, product shoot and group/family portraits.
This studio is located in Seri Hartamas, KL.

This time raya I did not go back to Ipoh as the house we have there has been rented out. So it was KL and Bentong on the first day. To all muslims, I wish you Selamat Hari Raya! Go easy on the greasy food people, they'll kill ya.
